IVIG Treatment
Paving the road for more effective immunoglobulin infusion therapy.
Elevation Infusion Services offers tailored medical treatment led by a professional IVIG nurse. Every patient is given a disease-specific, individualized care plan that is tailored to their specific needs. A certified IG nurse administers each home infusion in the most comfortable location.
We handle adverse drug responses, analyzes patient-reported health difficulties, and improves communication among all members of a patient’s care team for complicated neurologic and immunologic disorders. All of these initiatives may lead to the best possible outcomes for our immunoglobulin infusion treatment patients.
What conditions is immunoglobulin infusion treatment used to treat?
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP)
A slowly developing autoimmune disorder in which the body's immune system attacks the myelin that insulates and protects your body's nerves. The exact cause is not known. Common symptoms are gradual weakness or sensation changes in the arms or legs.
Common variable immunodeficiency
A primary immune deficiency disease characterized by low levels of protective antibodies and an increased risk of infections.
Multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN)
A progressive muscle disorder characterized by weakness in the hands, with differences from one side of the body to the other in the specific muscles involved. It affects men much more than women.
Myasthenia Gravis (MG)
A chronic autoimmune disorder in which antibodies destroy the communication between nerves and muscle, resulting in weakness of the skeletal muscles. Myasthenia gravis affects the voluntary muscles of the body, especially those that control the eyes, mouth, throat and limbs.
